Dr. Franklin, the Chairman and chief physician of Shinshiva, is a veteran Ayurvedic practitioner and has been honored by the government of Kerala numerous times. He founded Shinshiva in the year 2000 to offer genuine Ayurvedic and Panchakarma Treatment with well experienced Ayurvedic doctors and therapists. Apart from Ayurvedic treatment, the centre also conducts yoga and meditation sessions.

Shinshiva has all the facilities to make your stay relaxed and comfortable. There are independent thatched-roof cottages as well as fully furnished rooms (all sea facing), well-maintained gardens with paved walkways, herbal nursery, modern telecommunication facilities, 24 hour room service, and travel help desk. The centre has a vegetarian restaurant which serves only Ayurvedic Vegetarian food.
